Sam Wesson is a transactional attorney based in Los Angeles County, California.

Sam grew up in Malibu, California. Sam became interested in real estate at an early age by watching his dad work on teams that developed lifestyle (open-air shopping) centers and mixed-use projects in California and across the Western United States. As a teenager, Sam came to appreciate the role that attorneys play to help get things done in real estate and set out to become one.

Sam obtained his bachelor’s degree at University of California Santa Cruz in 2015 and his law degree at Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 2019. While at Loyola, Sam served as a judicial extern at the United States District Court for the Central District of California and as a law clerk at the Environment Section of the California Attorney General’s Office. Sam also interned at the Los Angeles Fire Department & City Attorney’s Office at City Hall. On campus, Sam worked as a staffer and the chief production editor of Loyola’s International Law Review, volunteered at the Consumer Bankruptcy Clinic, and led the Real Estate Law Society.

Sam went on to practice law in the real estate group of Sklar Kirsh, a premier boutique law firm in Los Angeles, where he helped clients buy, sell, and lease commercial real estate. He then practiced in the real estate group of Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest law firms in the Western United States. At Snell, Sam helped clients lease, buy, sell, develop, finance, and operate real property. Sam also worked on company mergers, acquisitions, and asset purchases that involved real property. Sam has represented individuals, families, real estate occupiers (particularly retailers and industrial users), sponsors, private equity, lenders, public companies and REITs, nonprofits, and state universities. Sam founded Wesson Law PC to focus on serving his clients and their teams as they lease, buy, sell, and operate real property. When out of the office, Sam can be found with his family or around the waters and mountains of California.
